ilya_shaikovsky Oct 1, 2009 6:41 AM (in response to tobi04)yes, capital R should solve the problem of just not working attribute.
And b.t.w. I can't get the idea of next sentense
Why is rerender="mainPanel" not get the request in the "Conversion and Validation" phase? -
4. Re: rich:ajaxValidator, rerender and f:convertNumber?
tobi04 Oct 1, 2009 8:24 AM (in response to tobi04)What I mean with the sentence in more detail:
- When I click the commandButton then the conversion of the input value works.
- When the conversion works then the request was in the "Conversion and Validation" JSF phase.
- With reRender the input value is not converted so the "Conversion and Validation" JSF phase seems not to be reached. -
5. Re: rich:ajaxValidator, rerender and f:convertNumber?
ilya_shaikovsky Oct 2, 2009 5:52 AM (in response to tobi04)reRender could not influence on phases execution. or I'm still missing something in the case.

tobi04 Oct 2, 2009 6:02 AM (in response to tobi04)No, thats right. The problem seems to be that reRender does not work and I do not know why.
