    jcdi-gen?

    gonorrhea

seam-gen is very popular and useful for obvious reasons (as are the Hibernate Tools like hbm2java, etc.)

what tools are available or will be available with a Web Beans project?

Well, I don't think tooling/generators are the issue of Web Beans itself, more of application frameworks that build upon Web Beans (such as Seam 3)

That is exactly correct. I'm going to start by providing Maven 2 archetypes for enterprise (EAR) and servlet (WAR) JCDI/JSF2/Seam projects in the Seam examples repository. Don't worry, the Seam bits amounts to just a couple of dependencies so they are easy to clear out if you don't need them right away. On second thought, I might do archetypes just for Web Beans too.
