Yes! I am able to lookup Application scoped beans just fine over the webservice.
We are a business tier application served over the webservice. Am unable to figure out a way to lookup the object over normal HTTP.
Also, am using the SE bootstrap. Does that matter? -

pmuir Aug 13, 2009 11:31 PM (in response to niravshah)If you are using SE bootstrap, the none of the servlet integration is present, so no context other than application will be active during the servicing of the servlet. Try using the EE or Servlet setup.
