Injection in JSF phase-listener

I tried to inject an event produces in a phase-listener (JSF 2.0).
It didn't work, so is it a bug?

And how could I get programmatically an instance of this event producer?

Injection into phase-listeners is not an any spec (wouldn't mind having it in future revisions, though). For now, you can obtain the BeanManager from JNDI.
