WELD-000052 Should it be called when List is empty?

So we were wracking our heads on this one, and I'm not sure if it makes sense or not.

Is Weld 52 supposed to be raised when a List is empty?  Why is it raised right now?  It seems odd that a produced collection cannot be empty.

No. If it is, please create a simple bean to test and create a JIRA (I can't immediately see any obvious bugs in Weld here).

There's an explicit call to isEmpty is the return type is a Collection, from what it looks like.  It may be old code though that someone has fixed already.  I'll put in a JIRA.  Not sure I know where exactly the code is though, will need to break it again to see.
