PickList automatic sorting

Hello,

I want to use the pickList component in order to choose some days in a week. I want to preserve days order in the both lists on adding or removing items.

Actually, if i choose "monday" from the left side, then remove it from the right side, monday appears under "sunday"... Not very nice isn't it? Is there a way to sort items after adding or removing one of them?

unfortunatelly not available out-of-the-box.

This could be done only using additional ajax call after item moved. But it will looks also not really nice because the item will be placed unsorted and then after call list will be redrawn in right order.

Not very nice you're right...

I'm not very familiar with richfaces components, but, is there a way to make a custom pickList which can reorder the lists (by an action call on server side for example)?
If so, how to do that?

you could reorder by an action call using even this one.. using support on onlistchange. just blinking will appears.

And go please through our wiki page (http://www.jboss.org/community/docs/DOC-13579) in order to be familiar how to customize the component. As I think your case ideally also requires changes in client side code in order to move items between lists with insertion in proper places.
