I am trying to use seam without the embeddable JBoss(tomcat takes so long to start up, not to mention, more memory is used).  When I do this though, it appears jars are missing, so I find the jars with seam and add them.

Using the drools guessing game app with NO ejb, I finally get to an exception where seam REQUIRES EJB3 class and I can't figure out why.  That app doesn't use any EJB3.  Does SEAM require EJB3 to run?  and is there any app that works on just plain tomcat right out of the box.  I hate bringing a bunch of baggage that I am not using along with me.
