damianharvey.damianharvey.gmail.com Mar 13, 2008 12:06 PM (in response to sriramsudheer)It doesn't look like there has been much success with showing PDFs inline using the mediaOutput tag. See this and this. I can't really see how it could be done reliably anyway, without using iFrames as you would have to assume that the browser had the PDF plugin.
I'm about to start using Sun's PDF Renderer to display my PDFs as images. This might be a better option for you.
Cheers,
Damian.

sriramsudheer Mar 13, 2008 11:50 PM (in response to sriramsudheer)Hi Carsten, createContent = #"{mediaBean.paint}" should call the method paint(OutputStream out, Object obj) which is not happening.
Hi Damian, I looked at the jira bug in which they clearly mentioned its not do with mediaoutput. Please look at this link
too -

damianharvey.damianharvey.gmail.com Mar 14, 2008 11:48 AM (in response to sriramsudheer)Well I was anticipating putting a link on my page for
View
which would render the image in a panel on the page, and also a link forDownload
which would download the PDF. I suppose you could have one forPrint
that would open the image in a new window and launch a print dialog. That should work well.Cheers,
Damian.
