Using SEAM with Hibernate, and on Resin

    rmann

I've been a long-time Struts developer and have, over the last year, been trying to do all my persistence via Hibernate. Along comes SEAM, and it seems to be highly encouraged, so I'd like to get into it.

But: I run all my current webapps on Resin, and a) really like it and b) don't want to move wholesale to JBoss just yet. It seems that Resin has some issues running SEAM, but I'd like to ask for help here. Does anyone know how to do it?

My other concern is this: is there still a place for Hibernate in an EJB 3 container? (I realize this may not be the right place for this question, but the Hibernate book seems to think SEAM is the best environment in which to use Hibernate.)

      TIA,
      Rick
