how to inject or access jndi values?

Hi,

Is there any way to inject arbitrary JNDI values into a seam component? There's a @Resource annotation, but I think this only works for session beans

You could file an FR in JIRA for this. I.e. Not atm.

If you are on JBoss, I recommend using MBeanProxy. You should be able to create a Factory object for any JNDI object with that in just a couple lines of code.

Has a feature request been created for this? It would be handy to avoid polluting POJOs with InitialContext garbage.
