Help required for customization of inline search feature of

Hi All,

We need to customize the inline filter of extendedDataTable (in rich faces).
The filtering needs to be done on enter key press.

Currently if we are using “onkeypress� as the filtering event then after every character input it’s doing filter and screen gets reloaded.
We need to customized this in such a way that after entering a complete string and hitting the enter button only, the filtering/screen refresh should happen.

Could you please provide some pointers for this?

implement external filtering. built-in provides only event customization.
