kruno Apr 21, 2008 8:21 AM (in response to enda)Or you can try with:
<s:link view="#{link}" pageflow="#{pageflow}" propagation="begin" value="NEW PAGEFLOW" />

3. Re: Navigation between long running natural conversations
enda Apr 21, 2008 2:36 PM (in response to enda)I think that this will produce just one conversation, What if I want to keep 2 conversations one for person and one car?

4. Re: Navigation between long running natural conversations
enda Apr 21, 2008 2:44 PM (in response to enda)I think that this may work for long running conversations, but for natural one I get exception that long running conversation is already active.
I got answer to nested natural conversations here jira
I will double check both solutions you have send me as I get to work.
Thank you Tomas

5. Re: Navigation between long running natural conversations
enda Apr 21, 2008 7:23 PM (in response to enda)Well here is the result,
I used this code<s:link id="test" action="#{examExecutionActionManager.select}" view="/private/contest/examExecutionHome.seam" pageflow="#{examExecutionHomeFlow}" propagation="begin" value="NEW PAGEFLOW"> <!-- <s:conversationName value="examExecutionHome" /> --> <f:param name="examExecutionHome" value="#{reservation.examExecution.id}" /> </s:link>
This creates an implicit conversation for
examExecution
instead of creating a natural conversation as defined in pages.xml
I tried to use <s:conversationName../> but it des not work.Is there something for 2.0.2.GA in JIRA that I should wait for?

8. Re: Navigation between long running natural conversations
cinconnu Aug 28, 2008 4:35 PM (in response to enda)First, i am sorry to partly hijack this thread, but i cannot find anything on my problem, nobody is answering to my post(s), and this thread is almost what i need... I really hope that someone on the Seam team will answer...
What i'd really like is to have to pages with each one having a long running conversation (the UI is several tabs keeping their own state, and the user can navigate between them). I cannot use Session scope because of the memory requirements...
So i tried a lot of things and ended with this (i believed at some point that this was working...):
http://www.seamframework.org/Community/2Pages2ConversationsMaybe there is a key concept that i have not understood. Please help!!!
