RichFaces 3.2.0 Calendar problem

Hi,

I am using jboss seam 2.0.1 and found the following problem using rich:calendar :

- I submit a form and then enter view on that saved item. When I manually change the date input to a string that cannot be formatted to a date and hit the save button, the error message is displayed saying value must be a date,  eg. 21/04/2008, but the field displays the previously saved date, not the string that I just entered.

Is there someone facing the same problem or am I doing something wrong?
