s:formattedText adds p tag

Hello,

I am usering seam 1.2.1.

I noticed that the s:formattedText tag adds a html paragraph tag around the formatted result. Is there a way to prevent it from doing this?

I checked the sourcecode, and it looks like all formatting is done by the SeamTextParser class. But I can't figure out how I could prevent that parser from adding that paragraph tag.
