defaultCommand not working on modalPanel to submit the form

Hi,

I have an application that uses Seam 2.0, Richfaces RF 3.2.0 snapshot.
The problem is that I have a modalPanel which contains one input text field and an enter button.
Whent I press enter key it works fine in FF and submits the modalPanel data but on IE7 it doesn't submit the modalPanel form and navigate away.

Why is it so??
I am using defaultCommand on form to get submit button but its of no use on IE7.

Any help??
