nickarls May 20, 2008 7:43 AM (in response to sriramsudheer)They are just paths, you can use several ../../ or start with /stylesheet or just stylesheet

medibadge May 20, 2008 5:40 PM (in response to sriramsudheer)I used Jason Long's code example and my header now is:
<head> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" /> <title>#{messages['app.title']}</title> <link href="#{basePath}stylesheet/theme.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" /> </head>

dan.j.allen May 22, 2008 12:04 AM (in response to sriramsudheer)You don't need to include the scheme and all that in the basePath. Just using the request context path is fine:
- {facesContext.externalContext.requestContextPath}
As a side note, the reason that seam-gen does not use this out of the box is because it breaks previewing the templates in the RichFaces editor of JBossTools. In Seam in Action, I recommend making this change right out of the box.

dan.j.allen May 22, 2008 12:05 AM (in response to sriramsudheer)That should be:
#{facesContext.externalContext.requestContextPath}

At least I've tried a nightly long a go and it worked

medibadge May 22, 2008 4:57 PM (in response to sriramsudheer)My header now is:
<head> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" /> <title>#{messages['app.title']}</title> <link href="#{facesContext.externalContext.requestContextPath}/stylesheet/theme.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" /> </head>
and it works fine.
By the way Dan, I have the PDF ebook version of your Seam In Action and highly recommend it. I also ordered the print version, which I think will be out in about three weeks.
