anb1 Jun 6, 2008 8:39 AM (in response to anb1)Thank you for your answer. I could hack something with checkboxes but I am now looking for a solution where one can just click anywhere on a row and ctrl-click multiple rows, then click on a button to do an action on all the rows selected.
How do you guys usually do that ? Is it even possible ?

jguglielmin Jun 6, 2008 3:35 PM (in response to anb1)If you were using ICEfaces, or wanted to try it, you could use the rowSelector component. To see this component, you can view the component-showcase
Choose Table and then Row Selector. -
4. Re: Multple row selection in a datatable example
damianharvey.damianharvey.gmail.com Jun 6, 2008 7:15 PM (in response to anb1)rich:dataTable has an onRowClick event and an onRowDoubleClick event. Use one of these with an a4j:support to pass the row back to your Bean.
Search this forum for onRowClick and you'll see several approaches.
Cheers,
Damian.
