1. Re: Using Seam with Maven 2
svadu Jun 25, 2008 12:48 AM (in response to metal610)Problem with archetypes is that it'll probably need to be a vendor specific due to high(er) complexity of dependencies involved...
I guess once integration testing is officially supported creating archetypes wont be a big deal (and may even be a logical step).

nbhatia.bhatian.comcast.net Aug 22, 2008 2:48 PM (in response to metal610)If not an archetype, is there a simple Hello World example that uses Maven 2 and runs on JBoss? The examples included with the Seam distribution mix ant and Maven, and it is very difficult to get a simple example up and running. I have given it a try and I am getting all sorts of exceptions:

6. Re: Using Seam with Maven 2
gjeudy Oct 6, 2008 3:41 PM (in response to metal610)Hi, I voted for both JIRAs in this thread. I feel like maven2 is a superior build tool and should be preferred to ant by seam-gen.
For this reason i'm unable to use seam-gen and leverage great stuff like out-of-the-box integration testing or hot deployment functionality.
