1. Re: SEAM PDF-generation, image scaling
ari Jun 30, 2008 8:57 AM (in response to ari)I made a workaround by determining maximum area for images to use and calculate the corresponding dimensions dynamically in Java code.
In addition to SEAM PDF <p:image... attributes widthPercentage and scalePercentage, I'd like to suggest that maximumImageWidth and maximumImageHeight is added. The purpose would simply be
determine the maximum area the image may use; the image will be automatically scaled to fit the area

:)Thanks for the tip. ;) I was about to submit a feature request in JIRA, but after reading the FAQ I decided to ask if anyone had a solution.
Another reason for not submitting a feature request is because I don't currently have time or know-how to produce a patch for the PDF-generation (which, in my experience would really help someone).
Do You know approximately where I should dig for implementation for <p:image ?

norman Jul 1, 2008 4:59 PM (in response to ari)Patches are nice, but not strictly necessary for a JIRA request.
The seam pdf portion of p:image is org.jboss.seam.pdf.ui.UIImage.

arronlee Mar 7, 2014 1:12 AM (in response to momimage)Hi, mom image.
Iagree with you that using a fine image scaling toolkit whose way of processing is simple and fast to deal with the relevant projects can make all the process much more convenient. Right?
Best regards,
Arron
