I have recently created a HelloWorld Seam Archetype, that is much more useful than the one currently listed when calling mvn archetype:generate. It contains a HelloWorld Application, so might be useful to everyone (especially for people currently using maven, but new to Seam).
The documentation for it is deployed at my student Account, because assembla.com (where the code is) doesn't have WebHosting like Sourceforge.
Let me know if you have some advice for changes.
