Component creation with component.xml

I was going through 5.2 of the docs and it looks like that's exactly what I need, but I need to know if when you put properties in the XML component definition if they're being set by calling setters, reflection or constructors.  Thanks!

Attempts setter first and then field by reflection.  You can view the related source in org.jboss.seam.Component.  My personal preference is to always use a setter for these cases.
