If you want to access Seam outside a managed request (ejb3, jsf, async, ws) then you'll need to set up the contexts yourself - various Seam components do this. Much much easier to use Seam async.

This leads me to the question, how can I setup a programmtically? Or, which interceptor does the Black-Magic of creating an active context?
Greetings
PS: Sorry, if this question was asked already thousands of times before
I might start by looking at the org.jboss.seam.ejb.SeamInterceptor, configured in ejb-jar.xml to intercept EJB method calls.
