gjeudy Sep 10, 2008 3:39 PM (in response to blabno)Can try raising the server-wide parameter?
I cannot tell you why the annotation is not working, I recall at least 1 other person on this forum having the same issue with it. Perhaps you can post to the appropriate JBoss forum to find out more about this misbehaving ?

4. Re: Transaction timeout ? : GenericJDBCException: Cannot open connection
blabno Sep 11, 2008 9:48 AM (in response to blabno)Maybe database closes the connection after 5 minutes. Could that be ?
Also how is it with that @TransactionTimeout ? Bean does not need to be annotated, just methods ? And those methods only in bean, not in the interface ?
When I have one method calling another, should both be annotated @TransactionTimeout ?
And in same situation but when the latter method is @Asynchornous, which should be annotated ? -
5. Re: Transaction timeout ? : GenericJDBCException: Cannot open connection
blabno Sep 11, 2008 2:06 PM (in response to blabno)It seams that
async:timer-service-dispatcher
was the problem. Using Quartz solved the problem. Solution found here.
