Extended data table current value

In my application, i have a extended data table.
Now i have suppose hide a column. Now i want to get the extended data table list value in a array where only the vissible columns data will be there. And at the same the another list i want , where i can get all the visisble column list. Means i want a table value replica in manage bean what ever i can see in UI. Is there any direct way?

ok..i am making my question simple..
suppose in my extended data table i have sort / filter..
Now i want to get the current value list for that grid where i can get only the filter value. or i have made invisible a column , so my data list should not contain the data of that coulmn..how to get this? is any binding for method for that?

Is there no way to get the grid value in manage bean, for a perticular instance what i can see in runtime GUI ?

Have a look at the "tableState" property of the extendedDataTable. See if thats useful for you.

no..that will not give the grid value list..tablestate only describe the table column grouping,visibility state, width etc..

so you could manage you result list according to tableState properties.. or I'm still missing something in your case..
