Haven't heard of any other problems, though - I've been using several Tomahawk components successfully with Seam, namely the tree2, dataTable / column / dataScroller, calendar, and popup.

to me, the state saving applies to the MyFaces JSF impl, and not to the Tomahawk UI component library.
We are packaging Tomahawk with Mojarra. A Tomahawk component like t:dataList works fine.
And, the MyFaces extensions filter resides in the Tomahawk Jar. So, still no dependency on the MyFaces impl.
