Do you mean just an HTML rather than leveraging RichFaces functionality (e.g extendedDataTable or something like that). -

mbeedub Dec 1, 2009 8:00 AM (in response to mbeedub)Great thanks. Will take a look.
And what should we be thinking about in terms of overlaying appointments (these could have different start and end points and different durations e.g an hour long call starting at 12:30 - 1:30. Then an appt from 1:30 - 1:45 etc).
Apologies, just trying to get my head round where to even begin looking.
Thanks again -

agdias1 Jan 10, 2010 8:00 AM (in response to mbeedub)Hi,
I´m also developing an application using Rich Faces Calendar, but I need an weekly view, just like Oracle´s ADF Calendar ( http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/jdev/11/how-tos/calendar/calendar.htm).
What components should I use in this case?
Thanks a lot.

kubap. Jan 10, 2010 3:47 PM (in response to agdias1)Hi,
You may use Prime Faces Shedule component. See: http://www.primefaces.org:8080/prime-showcase/ui/schedule.jsf

agdias1 Jan 11, 2010 5:47 AM (in response to kubap.)Jakub,
good morning and thanks for your help. This is exactly what I need. I have some doubts regarding it, since the "scheduler" component is not present in the list of components, neither in the 1.2 nor the 2.0 implementations. What library should I use
Is there already any discussion list for Prime Faces, since this is a Rich Faces list?

mbeedub Jan 11, 2010 2:14 PM (in response to kubap.)Interesting....
The PrimeFaces Scheduler component looks very much like FullCalendar (http://arshaw.com/fullcalendar/). Remarkably similar in fact. Perhaps they're using that open source code to implement the component?
FullCalendar is a pretty powerful/flexible implementation of an Ajax based calendar and was going to suggest to the RichFaces guys that they might consider doing the same (i.e use FullCalendar's open source code to implement a component in RichFaces).
Anyway, just a thought...
