gajos Sep 26, 2008 12:48 PM (in response to gajos)Thanks a lot, one more thing - how to submit this form ? If I put a button into the form e.g.
<s:button action='#{controller.update}' value='Update'/>
all fields that I will modify on the page will be updated in the Map ?
<a:repeat value="#{controller.fieldList}" var="field"> <h:outputText value="#{field.name}"/> <h:inputText #{controller.valueMap[field]}/> </s:decorate> </a:repeat>

5. Re: submitting and reading data 'from request'
gajos Sep 28, 2008 10:02 PM (in response to gajos)no, they are not updated with:
<s:button action='#{controller.update}' value='Update'/>
but only if I use:
<h:commandButton action="#{controller.update}" value="Update"/>
many thanks Francisco, you helped me :)

6. Re: submitting and reading data 'from request'
luxspes Sep 29, 2008 5:56 PM (in response to gajos)Yes, sorry, you are right, you have to use <h:commandButton not <s:button, because it does not submit the form.
