1. Re: Cannot configure richfaces url-pattern using web:ajax4jsf-filter
pmuir Sep 30, 2008 7:23 PM (in response to pdhaigh)Seam allows you to apply a real regex - use regex-url-url-pattern.

pdhaigh Sep 30, 2008 7:26 PM (in response to pdhaigh)Thanks, that would be helpful. But in this instance having anything in the url-pattern parameter causes RichFaces to fail completely..

3. Re: Cannot configure richfaces url-pattern using web:ajax4jsf-filter
steve42 Oct 24, 2008 12:07 PM (in response to pdhaigh)You have add a real regular expression in the regex-url-pattern attribute, not the url-pattern attribute.
The expression to use, depends on the rich faces version. It must ensure that all ajax4jsf ajax and resouce requests will be handled as normal.
In my case (rich faces 3.2.1)
<web:ajax4jsf-filter
force-parser="true"
enable-cache="true"
regex-url-pattern=".*\.seam|.*\.css|/a4j.*"/>
will do the job.
HTH.
