1. Re: How to iterate an ArrayList in a dataTable or an ArrayList in a Bean
mail.micke Oct 13, 2008 10:39 AM (in response to jaseem)RichFaces has the <rich:subTable/> which can be used for this, have a look here.
Sure other component libraries have similar components (not in the standard jsf components though).
Otherwise you will have to build the table with plain html.

How to configure the richfaces-api-3.2.1.GA.jar, richfaces-impl-3.2.1.GA.jar and richfaces-ui-3.2.1.GA.jar files? Is it necessary to use all these jar files? Should I use any code in my web.xml?

5. Re: How to iterate an ArrayList in a dataTable or an ArrayList in a Bean
mail.micke Oct 14, 2008 2:12 PM (in response to jaseem)Sure no problem.
Just post the errors you are getting and I'll try and help out.
My apps are currently war projects so I don't know the correct place to put the jars, but I've seen a couple of postings in this forum for that question.
Have a look around and make sure that you've put the jars in the correct place.Besides adding the jars and the small update to web.xml, there really isn't much more to it.
Cheers,
Mickeps.
Sorry for the late reply work started blocking gmail where I used to monitor this forum as a maling list. -
6. Re: How to iterate an ArrayList in a dataTable or an ArrayList in a Bean
jaseem Oct 15, 2008 6:30 AM (in response to jaseem)Hai Mike. I got it without using richfaces. I included another dataTable inside the first dataTable.
Any how I think richFaces has an important role in Seam. I will try to work on that. Thank you for your suggestions.
