Workaround for onRowContextMenu event

I would like to ask if there is a workaround solution for the fact that the onRowContextMenu event does not exist in the rich:extendedDataTable component.
I need a way to execute some custom javascript code whenever a context menu opens with right click on a specific row of the table.
I am using the 3.3.2 SR1 version.

add outputPanel with block layout to every column and define componentControls on contextMenu event inside which will be calling shared menu instance.

thanks for the reply, but i don't see any way of executing my javascript code on the right click.
I can only open the menu but is there any way to do some additional javascript thing i.e coloring the selected row on which the user right-clicked?
