shane.bryzak Oct 17, 2008 2:09 AM (in response to ericjava.eric.chiralsoftware.net)I pinged Michael Neale from the Drools team about this, he recommended you use the Drools rule agent to manage a large number of rules. Here's what he had to say:
yes - with the agent you can tell it that the rules live in a directory, and it can slurp up any .drl files it finds. So you can split it up across different files.
Or you can list them individually.
eg (in a ruleagent.properties):file=/path/File1.drl /path/File2.drl
ordir=/path/here_be_dragons
