Javascript to stop tab change in tab panel.

Hi All,

I am using rich tab panel. I have 4 tabs in my panel. Sometimes I want to avoid switching between tabs on business specific logic.

Can some one provide me a better solution.

I explored ontableave attribute but the issue is its executing my javascript method but not stopping the request sending to another tab :(.

Hi it worked. I have another problem after some user intervention again i have to switch to the tab on which he clicked previously.

Do you know any richfaces javascript method to handle this?

Client side solution - It's not documented but check

RichFaces.switchTab = function(pane,tab,value)

funtcion.

Ajax based - use selectedTab attribute
