Accessing Faces Servlet url-pattern

not to be a moron or anything, but is there a way to access
(return) the url-pattern from a session bean after we set it in web.xml?

i thought i might find something in javax.faces.context.ExternalContext but no luck.

is this possible?

does ViewHandler.getActionUrl() do what you need?  If not, you can dig into how mojarra's default jsf ViewHandler implements this and use the same technique.

        FacesContext ctx = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance();
        ViewHandler viewHandler = ctx.getApplication().getViewHandler();
        String url = viewHandler.getActionURL(ctx, "/some/resource.xhtml");

works great. i hadnt used this approach before.
