Excel templateURI why are relative URIs not supported?

Is there a way to use relative URIs for the templateURI in an Excel workbook? In a webcontext absolute URIs are not sensible...

BTW I am using Seam 2.1.0 GA.

Something else I noticed jboss-seam-excel.jar does not seem to support tags such as

e:cellTemplate
e:font
e:border

etc.

Anybody know where I get the jar that support that tags as they are discribed in the doco?

Is it fixed in 2.1.1? Which docs are you revering to? I had a look at the nightly build.

Nothing committed yet but will be for 2.1.1. 2.1.0GA docs speak of CSS for formatting with the exception of e:cell child elems. Thats leftovers and will be removed.

I have a project where I really would like to try the template URL and the cell formatting.

Committed the fix (can't say if it's immediately visible or not). You can now have templateURI=/template.xml for a template in the view root. The 2.1.0SP1 will be assembled by hand to include only specific fixes so this one won't be included there.

Did you say that the css styles should work as well? I tried:

with little success.

You don't get an exception saying something like

Border line style black not supported, try [none, thin, medium, dashed, dotted, thick, double, hair, medium_dashed, dash_dot, medium_dash_dot, dash_dot_dot, medium_dash_dot_dot, slanted_dash_dot]

?

try thin black, i.e, linestyle color.

Admittebly, it is wrong in the docs. Or in code. Take your pick. I'm fixing it in the manual...

Could you give me an example how to use the templateURI attribute. I can't get it to work.
It always says: 'URI is not absolute'

What kind of template may I use (Excel template in xls format)?
Where do I have to put the template file?

I recall testing the change by dropping my template.xls in the view root of the Excel example and using the templateURI=/template.xls
