Why Jboss embedded? :(

When i wanna deploy seam WAR application on Tomcat 6, do I surely need Jboss embedded installed in Tomcat? If so, isn't it pretty bad = i've no chance to deploy application on shared tomcat on some cheap hosting :(. I've read that Jboss embedded wasn't required for earlier versions of seam, why seam developers did to me? :(

No, look at the JPA or hibernate example. Seam 2.1.1 will have a chapter on Seam on Tomcat.

yes, you are right there are plenty of relatively cheap hosting with jboss, but if i want hosting for which i'll pay in my currency (in Czech rep...i have my reasons - one day dollar = 15 CZK another day dollar = 21 CZK). In Czech there are some java hosting too, but almost all only with tomcat :( in my opinion in our country (besides it is small) many developers still prefer php and many java developers still use struts etc.

Maybe i was doing something wrong, but i wasn't able to deploy JPA example, until i've added jboss embedded jars into my tomcat6/lib :(.
