mail.micke Nov 22, 2008 12:40 PM (in response to gunhed)A tip is to use the PAGE scope, if it is in a single page. I use this a lot for simple reports or maintenance screens which stay on the same page.
By using PAGE scope you don't need to worry about starting and ending long-running conversations.

4. Re: Problem Seam, Facelet and RichFaces:dataScroller working with rich:DataTable
getboa Mar 3, 2010 6:16 PM (in response to gunhed)Hi,
I'm struggling with the same problem, but contrarily of using only one page, i´m using a modalPanel(where the form and dataTable is) included in that page, .... when i do change the ScopeType to SESSION, the pagination works properly, but when changing to PAGE or EVENT even CONVERSATION, nothing happens.
any idea?
i.e:
@Name(SearchAction)
public class SearchAction{
@DataModel("listObjects")
private List<Object> listObjects;
// getter/setters
}
ps.: The dataScroller is set as "footer" in the dataTable
