Hi,

I have been reading the manual and can see that language translation is possible by using files.

For historical reasons, our translation support is built into our database.  Is there an easy way to make seam translate from a custom bean instead of a resource bundle? (or is there an already existing example of this?)

There has always been the only problem with that sort of code - the authors always forget to mention in comments what they smoke when writing. So it becomes impossible to reach their path.

Can you just extract your i18n data to .xml or .properties files and use Seam Messages component?
