Problem by deploy SEAM-example

I recently download the jboss-seam-1.2.1.GA and built the example icefaces. But as I try to deploy it to JBoss AS 4.2.1 I got a lot of exceptions which hints there are problem with the JSF/Faceslets.

Someone any tips?

wow....that predates me, but I'm pretty sure that that example was meant for jsf1.1 implementation and the jboss-4.2.x application servers contain jsf1.2 jars.  If you REALLY want to stay with jboss-seam-1.2.1.GA then you should probably use a similar jsf implementation on the application server (jboss-4.0.5.GA with the JEMS installer for the ejb3 container).

Otherwise, why wouldn't you use jboss-seam-2.0.x or jboss-seam-2.1.x? (that would be my recommendation as everything has evolved so much over the last year or so).
