1. Re: why is the conversation long running
mindgame Dec 18, 2008 12:39 PM (in response to vanyatka)On a similar note, when I tried to create a new conversation vi Seam UI, <s:link propagation="join"/> or <s:link propagation="create"/>, a total of two long running conversations are created (one is empty, contain no user created components), followed by a second one containing user created components.
Where is the empty long running conversation come from?

2. Re: why is the conversation long running
vanyatka Dec 19, 2008 10:46 AM (in response to vanyatka)Could it be because the data is POSTed back as a form data, so it is supposed to be a long-running conversation taking place?

mindgame Dec 19, 2008 5:48 PM (in response to vanyatka)I have isolated the problem to the use of ContextualHttpServletRequest in a filter.

vanyatka Dec 20, 2008 1:05 AM (in response to vanyatka)I'm not quite sure we're talking about the same problem here.
Can you confirm the possibility of temporary conversation after the form has just been submitted or it necessarily has to be a long-running conversation? -
5. Re: why is the conversation long running
vanyatka Dec 24, 2008 1:03 PM (in response to vanyatka)It seems that whenever I reference any of EntityHome's methods from the .xhtml page the conversation becomes long-running, no matter if the method has @Begin annotation on it.
If anyone could explain why this happening, I would greatly appreciate.
