Conversation Propagation Question

Hi, could someone make a good explanation about conversation propagation? I think that i don't fully understand what does it means in terms of JSF Lifecyle phases. In my head i think it should not have any difference from a temporary-conversation that propagates it's context and another that don't.

What's the difference between them after the Render Response Phase of the JSF (or another phase)?
