tony.herstell1 Jan 3, 2009 10:42 PM (in response to tony.herstell1)This seems a very reasonable thing to do.
Does anyone know the voodoo to make this happen.
If you are working on something and someone comes in you have to
swap
to deal with their request you click on a menu item and your current conversation should be suspended... NOT NESTED... as you may have to flick about between conversations and ending a parent kills off its children which is sub optimal. The conversation picker should allow you to switch between conversations at will.

6. Re: Conversation Question
tony.herstell1 Jan 30, 2009 7:09 AM (in response to tony.herstell1)In Summary RF know of the problem but, I believe, are looking to seam...
<rich:menuItem submitMode="ajax" value="#{messages.menu_button_facilities}" action="#{facilitiesController.enter}" > <s:conversationPropagation type="none"/> </rich:menuItem>
Basically the above code should work but doesn't.
Seam/RF do not honour the conversationPropagation Tag... so the current conversation is not suspended.. thus when you try to start the new conversation (from the menu click you just did) BANG!.
The conversation ended, timed out or was processing another requestHow do we get some traction on this.. i.e. The Seamsters taking to the RF boys and girls to get this fixed?
