Seam, Wicket, and Maven

I'm finding it difficult to properly build a Seam/Wicket project using Maven, because of the instrumentation step. 

My problem is similar to this JIRA:

Anyone have any suggestions on tackling this?  I'm interested in putting together a maven plugin that serves a similar function as the ant instrumentation task.  Any pointers on how that should work? I don't know how to get around grabbing everything from the main classes directory.

You could just use the wicket instrumentation ant task and the maven antrun plugin to instrument with maven, and put the destination classes in WEB-INF/classes.
