Please, please can someone at JBoss tell me if I am attempting the impossible? I have been pulling my hair out for 3 days trying to get this to work:
Tomcat 6
JBoss Embedded beta 3
Seam 2.0.1.GA
It feels like I am tantalizingly close but I can't get past the point at which Seam wants to start up a Hibernate Session. I have detailed in full on Seam forum: (http://www.seamframework.org/Community/SeamListenerCannotFindDatasourceSeam20OnTomcat6Why)
Rather than repeat everything please could you look there.
My current theory is that JBoss embedded JNDI is broken or I am simply not configuring correctly. I have tried numerous combinations - too many to list. I have read all the wiki's and other similar posts.
Is there any expert at JBoss who can answer the simple question: Should this work??
