rich:dataTable tag gives the feature to display the data list with navigating the page with specific number of records per page. The code has to fetch the entire data as and has to give as data object to use rich:dataTable event it is displaying n number if records per page. It introduce the performance issue when the data list has huge size. Is there any option to fetch the data only for the selected page by clicking at the page navigation bar the way it has to fetch the data and display it?

It's not necessary to fetch the entire data for the rich:datascroller component. You only need to extend an appropriate data model - for instance the ExtendedDataModel.
