Limit processing in rich:tabPanel.

Does anyone have a best-practice for limiting bean processing to the currently selected rich:tab? By default, richfaces processes all bindings on all tabs regardless of which tab is actually visible.

I got it to work, but the resulting code in the backing bean was not elegant and left me with the impression that there MUST be a better way.

it might be that putting a4j regions in each tab helps... I've read something like that somewhere.
