If so the easiest way is to the work that you need to commit immediatly in a ejb3 SLSB with a method annotatated @TransactionAttribute(REQUIRES_NEW)

 I'd also mention that my component is not a slsb, it's defined as a @Scope(ScopeType.APPLICATION) for what it matters...Isn't there a seam way to perform nested transaction?
