Comparing Objects

I'm working with a data source that's using objects as their primary keys. Is there anyway to cast/convert these to something I can use for comparison purposes in the virtual models?

Specifically what I'm talking about is the use of GUID as primary keys in relational databases. If MMX (Teiid) isn't looking at this yet, it's probably a good thing to consider in future releases. I've seen some interesting articles talking about the pros of using GUIDs.
