new user of Seam Framework

Hai, i'm new in Seam Framework. I found it very powerful, so that i want to learn more about it. There are several questions i want to ask :

1. How to integrate Seam with Netbeans 6.5?
2. Is That possible to develop Seam with SQL Server 2005?
3. Should i build Seam with JSF? I mean is that possible to build web application without adding JSF code (Sorry, i'm new in both of that framework) ?

1. AFAIK Netbeans doesn't have Seam support yet. But you can use the Eclipse based JBoss Tools, or IDEA's IntelliJ which do support Seam.

2. Yes

3. You have plenty of choices for presentation: plain JSF, RichFaces, ICEFaces, Wicket...Feel free to choose.

To start with, I suggest that you check out the Documentation (there is a link on this page, up to the left), it also has tutorial and examples.

1. thank you for the reply. Is it possible to develop Seam without any of that framework (JSF, RichFaces) ?  I mean, is it important to develop seam together with that framework? because i'm new in that technology. i have ever heard about RichFaces, but i don't know what it is used for.

2. do you have any tutorial to develop seam with IntelliJ? if yes, then would you please provide me some link? thank you very much before.

Hi! Thank you! I've found an excellent things to develop Seam with RichFaces together. But currently i don't know how to develop Seam with IntelliJ IDEA 8 from scratch. Anyone would provide me some link? thank you very much!

Well, i've watched the video but the tutorial is not from scratch. One thing i need to know is each step by step until the seam project is ready. Sorry, i'm still new in IDEA 8 and Seam since Netbeans 6.5 could not develop Seam Application. Thank you very much!
