Spring Variable resolver used with @In?

I haven't tried it yet, thought I'd ask first. If I'm doing some Spring + Seam integration and only use the SpringVariableResolver is it still consulted when I do @In("#{springBean}") or do I need to go to Spring 2.5 and use the full ELResolver?
