Superscript and subscripts in Seam PDF

Hi, does anybody know of a way to use super and sub scripts in Seam PDF? I've looked through the reference document and there doesn't seem to be any entries for those. I do know of the s:formattedText tag that can output rich text, but when I tried to put in the following into my p:document, I got nothing.

<p:document xmlns:p="http://jboss.com/products/seam/pdf"
     xmlns:s="http://jboss.com/products/seam/taglib">
<s:formattedText value="super^scripts^" />
</p:document>

Can anybody help with with this? Thanks in advance!

s:formattedText can only be used inside p:html.  I don't think super/subscripts should be that hard to create.  Feel free to open a JIRA.
